Laborers For Christ helps put Ministry in Motion by serving as the hands and hearts to accomplish God's plan for your ministry and the goal of reaching more people. Members of Laborers For Christ assist with a remodeling project, building a brand-new facility, or updating an organization's physical structure for optimal efficiency.

Using Laborers For Christ for Your Ministry

Laborers For Christ members bring experience and expert knowledge in construction, typically cutting the project management costs 10% to 30%. Laborers For Christ can also update existing facilities, helping you acquire tax credits, and/or money and energy savings. "

This money-saving benefit is secondary to the uplifting presence Laborers For Christ brings to your ministry. Laborers enjoy attending worship services, Bible studies and becoming part of your ministry. Laborers will help your ministry multiply the volunteer base, not only for the construction project but for your overall ministry.

Mahlburg Asia Dec-2015 lightened

The Mahlburg Family

Rev. Steven and Martha Mahlburg serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri

Synod (LCMS) as career missionaries in Macau. Steven serves as a pastor at Concordia Lutheran Mission Church. He works with other LCMS missionaries to build ministry possibilities and to serve those in need of mercy care. He provides pastoral care to Macau Christians, expatriates and the other LCMS missionaries serving in this country. Steven also supports the mission work at the Concordia School for Special Education and the Concordia English Center.

Steven was born in Dearborn, Mich. He has a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan

University, Mt. Pleasant, and he received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo., in 1995. Before serving in Macau, he served as a parish pastor in two Michigan congregations. Steven’s hobbies include reading, the performing arts, camping and the outdoors.

Martha was born in Wayne, Mich. She has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and cinematic arts from Central Michigan University as well. Martha enjoys reading, cross stitching and watching movies. Steven and Martha have five children – Autumn, Liberty, Skye, Rose and Duncan – who join them in Macau.

Pray for the Mahlburg family as they serve in Macau. Ask God to give them wisdom, comfort and support as they transition to life in Macau. Pray for open doors and hearts in Macau that many more would hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, believe and join the Body of Christ through the waters of Holy Baptism. Ask the Holy Spirit to move the hearts of people here in the United States to pray for and to financially support the mission work of the LCMS in Macau. Let us give thanks to God that the Mahlburgs are serving His children in this part of the world.
